Hot Fuzz (2007)
Shaun Of The Dead (2004)
TV drama following the turmoil of football club Manchester United through the Munich air disaster that killed a number of its staff and star players. In February 1958 a flight leaving Munich-Riem Airport crashed on its third attempt to take off. On board were the famous 'Busby Babes', a team of gifted young players led by the famous manager Matt Busby, returning to Manchester after successful qualification to the European cup semi-finals. A number of players, including Duncan Edwards, were killed in the crash, and still more injured. This BBC dramatisation of events follows star player Bobby Charlton (Jack O'Connell) and coach Jimmy Murphy (David Tennant) as they attempt to recover from the crash. With Busby (Dougray Scott) still hospitalised with his injuries and so many of their players gone, stand-in coach Murphy and the still-grieving Charlton will be crucial to the success on the field that would honour those so tragically lost.
Irish drama following three brothers who set out on a journey to get their ailing father a new watch. When his dad's precious watch gets smashed, 17-year-old Noel (Timmy Creed) is determined to get him a replacement from the arcade machine at the Ballybunion seaside. He borrows an old van and makes his way across the country with his younger brothers, football-crazy joker Paudie (Paul Courtney) and naive 'Star Wars' fanatic Scwally (T.J. Griffin), in tow. Despite their bickering and the problems they encounter on the way, the brothers ultimately grow closer throughout their journey.
Brit flick looking at the lives and loves of four young nightshift workers in present-day Glasgow. Sean (Luke de Woolfson) works as a porter in a hospital; Vincent (James Lance) stacks shelves in a supermarket; Jody (Kate Ashfield) is an assembly line worker; and Lenny (Enzo Cilenti) is employed in a call centre. The four of them meet up regularly in an all-night cafe, but things become more complicated when their love lives intertwine.
